For over thirty years, Michelle has had the privilege of working with people who are keen to improve their personal well-being, their mental health, their relationships, and to move forward in life more confidently. She has worked extensively in the mental health system and in private practice with children, adolescents and adults, couples and families.

Michelle's main focus now is on training, particularly in the areas of Professional Resilience®  and enhancing and empowering professionals to feel energised and passionate in their work. Michelle inspires people to cultivate the best in themselves and those around them, through her programs in resilience, mentoring, leadership and emotional intelligence. 

As Founder and Director of the centre, Michelle’s vision of creating a community oriented therapy centre has been realised. Her core values of a holistic approach and valuing the heart to heart, soul to soul aspects of human experience are fundamental to the centre's philosophy. 

Rebekah Barson

Individual and Couple Counsellor

Since early 2004, Rebekah has worked as a counsellor in both public and private settings, and has additional training in Psychotherapy (Victorian Association of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapists) and RelationshipCounselling (Relationships Australia). 


Rebekah has a compassionate and thoughtful approach to the emotional care and support of her clients, and provides a therapeutic space that is safe, supportive, and strengthening. Clients experience a sense of connection, trust and acceptance, while they explore the issues that have prevented them from experiencing the wellbeing and quality of life that they are seeking. Using a collaborative and strength based approach, Rebekah believes that healing and change is possible.

Janet Gluch Clinical Psychologist

BA (Hons) MA (Clin Psych) MAPS,

Member of College of Clinical Psychologists.


Janet is a Clinical Psychologist with over 18 years of experience.  Janet is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society and College of Clinical Psychologists.


Janet has worked overseas as well as locally, in both public (hospital and community) and private practice settings.   Janet has experience in working across the life span - children, adolescents and adults.  Janet has an interest in the areas of anxiety, depression, stress and adjustment difficulties.   She offers play therapy, parent counselling and individual therapy.  Janet also provides professional supervision.


Janet works in an eclectic manner, and tailors interventions to meet the needs of each individual. Her aim is to create a safe space where collaboratively she and the client can find a way forward.

Naomi Kalman

Individual, Couple and Family Therapist

Naomi is a therapist with many years’ experience in working with adolescents, adults, couples and families with a range of mental health issues. She is passionate about helping people get the very best for themselves in their relationships, both with themselves and in their family and work.


Naomi has a collaborative and encouraging approach. She is committed to helping clients move beyond solving problems to an enhanced sense of wellbeing.  She has a deep respect for the courage that it takes to come to therapy and take the necessary steps to make changes in our lives.


Naomi has developed group programs for specific relationship and life issues. She uses the group process with couples to learn relationship skills in a supportive and empowering environment, either at the beginning of their partnership or to enrich an already established relationship. 

Dr Rita Lapidus

Counselling Psychologist

Rita is an experienced psychologist who has worked with children and adults of all ages for 34 years over a variety of settings.


Rita’s aim in counseling is to help people heal and to improve their sense of well-being by enabling them to take control of their lives and develop self-reliance.  Above all, she wants people to experience enjoyment in their lives by empowering them to make the most of their own capacities.


Rita is passionate about allowing people to access a large range of psychological services.  She tailors her approach to the specific needs of each individual or couple and her work is based on a number of theoretical orientations including cognitive theory, psychodynamic theory, mindfulness, meditation and relaxation.  Rita has been trained in hypnotherapy techniques and this is an additional skill she employs with clients when appropriate.


Rita’s PhD research focused on the management of workplace change.  Her findings suggested that people can be helped to deal with change and become more resilient.  As well, Rita works with individuals affected by personal issues in the workplace.

Diana Coverdale

Personal and Professional Development Coach and Consultant  


Diana brings 3 decades of experience and expertise to her work as a Consultant, Facilitator, Professional and Personal Development Coach, Speaker, Counsellor and Psychotherapist.


She has designed and delivered a diversity of programs across a broad range of industries in both the private and public sectors for individuals, teams and organisations always focusing on the facilitation of personal and professional wellbeing and development.


Diana is an accredited MEWS (Managerial & Executive Wellbeing Survey) Coach, a Genos EI Practitioner and a DiSC Model facilitator. She also has a Diploma in Somatic Psychotherapy (A.C.C.S.P), an accredited Executive & Workplace Coach (Member I.C.F, Coachville), and a Conflict Resolution Consultant (Member of Conflict Resolution Network).


She is highly skilled in leadership and team development, developing emotional intelligence and workplace resilience, personal and professional development, mindfulness, executive and workplace coaching, action logic, world café, open space technology, stress management, conflict resolution, and a range of meditation techniques.
